This is a really important piece to me because I have been planning it for ages. The piece is on 16”x32” board with a frill trim on two sides for the skirt. The background is a purple mixture with three legs from three different eras of the Moulin Rouge. There is the French flag Garter belt in sequins, ribbon and cabochon. The very Victorian striped stockings with a lace bow and the Lautrec style plain black silhouette with a dark brown bead buckle. The corners are embellished with curtain trimming, feathers and an old fashioned cabochon. It is all a little bit sparkly too!
I would love to more of this style on commission too.
